Description

A5 Interlocking Folders

Our A5 interlocking folders are the perfect way to professionally present your documents. They’re attractive, affordable and communicate all the important information potential clients need to know.

A5 interlocking folders printing options

Our custom folders are printed on 350gsm silk paper by default, however we offer a wide assortment of alternative materials to best suit your specific needs. Opt for Uncoated or Premium Uncoated paper (easiest to write on), Gloss paper (for an aesthetic sheen) or Recycled or Kraft papers (for a truly eco-friendly folder).

For extra durability and finish, you can choose to add one of our laminations to your folder (one side or both sides). Choose from Matt, Gloss, Silk or Soft Touch lamination (the latter providing a luxurious velvety feel).

For truly bespoke custom folders, why not opt for one of our attention-grabbing finishing options? Choose Spot UV or foiling (choose from 10 colours to best match your aesthetic) to highlight important elements of your design. And for a truly unique folder think outside of the (rectangular) box and create your very own custom shape; with the latest die cutting technology we can produce die cut folders in virtually any shape imaginable!

Create your own A5 interlocking folder design using our free, downloadable A5 folder templates or take advantage of our in house design services.

PLEASE NOTE: Folders with solid colour coverage to the outside must be gloss or matt laminated to avoid cracking and marking!

FAQs

What’s the difference between interlocking and taped?
Taped folders are supplied with double sided tape applied to the tabs. You will need to remove the protective backing from the tape and stick the folder together. Interlocking folders are supplied with a tab and a slot so there is no need for any adhesive.
Are interlocking folders as strong as taped folders?

Interlocking folders are best suited to low on non capacity folders. The pocket on the taped folder will be permanently stuck down whereas the interlocking folder can be taken apart again so in that respect the taped folder is stronger.

Can I have a brochure stitched into the folder?

Yes, take a look at custom printed A5 Folder Brochures

Can I have more than one pocket in my folder?

Yes, we can add a 2nd pocket to the inside front cover – call us for a quote.

Can I have a vertical pocket instead of horizontal?

Yes – call us for a quote.

Can you print the sheets I want to insert into the folder?

Yes, we can print almost any documentation you like – including letterheads.

Can you supply my folders with the printed inserts already inserted into the pocket?

Yes, call us for a quote.

What’s the benefit of adding lamination?

Lamination will add strength to the folder and will ensure there is no cracking on the folded areas (spine and pocket). If you have a solid colour on your folder then lamination is essential.

What does capacity and non-capacity mean?
Capacity relates to how deep the spine is on the folder.  For more information about which capacity you need, visit our “Capacity of Presentation Folders” Guide.
How do I layout my artwork on the template?
As you look at the template, the right hand panel will be the front cover of the folder and the left hand panel which has the pocket beneath will be the back cover – the cover folds up and sticks to the inside of the back page.
If you’re folder will be double sided you’ll need to flip the template over so that the pocket is now below the right hand panel. This will be the inside of the back page and the left hand panel will be the inside of the front cover.
