Newsletter printing options

Choose from A4 or A5 size – or if you have custom dimensions in mind, simply get in touch! We offer portrait or landscape orientation. Choose your ideal number of pages and material options: we print on 130gsm silk paper throughout the cover and inner pages as standard. However, you can upgrade the cover to a heavier weight paper (between 170gsm and 350gsm), and choose a paper thickness for the inner pages between 90 and 250gsm.

We also offer a variety of different paper choices, including Uncoated, Matt and Gloss, Recycled, Bright white and Designer papers. To really make your newsletters ‘pop’, why not add foiling, Spot UV or embossing or debossing to highlight your company name, contact details or top news?

Or why not take advantage of our direct mailing services? Once finished we will even mail your newsletters out to your customers for you!

Create your own printed newsletter design using our free, downloadable newsletter templates or take advantage of our in house design services.

FAQs

What sizes are available? How many pages can my newsletters have?

Better Printing offers A5 (148mm by 210mm) and A4 (210mm by 297mm) newsletter sizes in a range of page counts. The page count numbers in the pricing table below also includes the outer cover, which counts as four individual pages.

Please note that these measurements refer to the size of the newsletter when closed. Bespoke sizes and page counts are also available – simply get in touch to find out more!

How are multi-page newsletters bound?

Our standard multi-page newsletters are bound together via saddle-stitching. This method assembles pages by first nesting several folded double-leaf spreads on top of each other (starting with the middlemost pages and finishing with the outer cover leaf).

The pages are then stitched together by threading lengths of metal wire (similar to staples) through all pages along the central crease line.

Saddle stitching offers the best solution for fast-turnaround, low-price newsletter printing; but if for any reason you require a different binding method, Better Printing can also print your content on perfect bound and wiro bound booklets. Just drop us a line to discuss your requirements!

Will my newsletters be printed via litho or digital methods?

The right print method will depend on a number of factors; including the product type, quantity and turnaround time you require.

Better Printing can produce your order on either litho or digital, with both available in-house. Our sales team can recommend the most cost-effective solution for your needs and will confirm your preferred method before going to print.

What materials are these products printed on?

Please see the Specification tab for more information on this product’s standard material specification. Alternative stocks and grades can be supplied for most products to help you customise your order – simply get in touch to discuss your print requirements.

How do I select portrait or landscape?

All multi-page newsletter booklets produced in portrait orientation (with the spine located on the longer edge of the booklet) as standard. Alternatively, you can request landscape orientation for your newsletters if needed at the checkout stage.

What page format should I use for my newsletter content?

We recommend supplying all text and artwork as single pages, in the same order as you want them to appear in the finished newsletter. Please avoid supplying your artwork in printer’s pairs or double page spreads, as this may extend production times of your print order.
